5.1 – Products Not Showing in the Dropdown
If your dropdown appears empty or shows “No Products Found”, check:
- Filters too narrow: try removing filters one at a time (especially price range and stock status) to see which one is excluding your products.
- No published products match: confirm the products you expect actually have the category/tag/attribute you filtered by, in Products in your WordPress dashboard.
- Include/Exclude IDs: make sure the IDs you’ve excluded don’t accidentally include products you wanted to show.
- WooCommerce not active: the field depends on WooCommerce being installed and active.
5.2 – AJAX Search Not Returning Results
If typing in an AJAX-search-enabled field doesn’t return any products:
- Confirm the layout is set to Select2 AJAX search only works with this layout.
- Check your browser’s console (F12 → Console tab) for JavaScript errors, which can indicate a plugin/theme conflict.
- Make sure no caching or security plugin is blocking
admin-ajax.phprequests. - Try broadening or removing filters if your filters + search term together match zero products, no results is expected.
